Emily Albrent 

Emily is a senior Print-Journalism major and an Anthropology minor at UW-Eau Claire. She had a passion for anthropology and hopes one day to travel around the world, writing about everything she sees.

She will be embarking on a journey to Blue Creek, Belize this summer to take part in archeological field work as part of the Maya Research Program for two weeks. Next summer, she plans on staying for three full months with the field work team.

After she graduates, she plans on moving to New York City and in the future, she will go back to school and earn a graduate degree in Anthropology.

Elizabeth Jackson

Elizabeth is a senior Print-Journalism and History major at UW-Eau Claire. Her love of history and the stories of people began at a young age, and she hopes to make a career of documenting personal histories.

In June 2013 Elizabeth will be travelling throughout Europe to study the culture, history and arts in countries like Germany, Czech Republic and Poland. She plans on documenting her month long trip through photography, another one of her passions.

After graduation in spring 2014, Elizabeth hopes to intern at the Smithsonian Museum and get her graduate degree in history.

David Heiling

   David Heiling

David is a senior Print Journalism major at UW-Eau Claire with a minor in history. His passion for both writing and learning the history of the world started upon arrival at the university in 2009.

His new role as Editor in Chief at the university student newspaper has helped him become proficient in online posting and design, as well as great editing and writing skills.

After graduation in the fall of 2013, David aspires to work for ESPN in some capacity or work at a daily newspaper reporting on hard news stories, features or sports writing.
